ABOUT
Blooms of Millennium, being the pioneer Montessori school in the area provides a well designed Montessori education for children from two years to five years.
We guarantee your child a sound Montessori education by qualified, well trained teachers and other staff guided by a well qualified directress with handful of experience in the field.
Our classrooms and programs are arranged to pursue child's personal interest enabling him to gain an early enthusiasm for learning which will lead him to become a truly educated person.
We offer our services as a Montessori school since 2003 to date with a good reputation from people in the area.
In addition to the Montessori school, we operate a well reputed After School Care Centre for kids below ten years.

Group lessons for Elocution exams (CALSDA/IWMS) for children from Montessori age to Gr.3.

Small group lessons (max 5 students) for elocution from Gr.3 to Gr.5 .

Individual or small group lessons (max 3 students) for school syllabus from GR.3 to G.C.E. (O/L).
CHILD SAFETY
The management takes the child safety on top priority basis.
When our own building was designed in 2011, all physical child safety matters were taken in to consideration to avoid any physical damages to kids.
We further,

Do not leave children without supervision, not only in the classrooms, but also at the snack time, outside play, washroom using, climbing steps etc.

Maintain the maximum cleanliness in the premises throughout the day.

Watch the floor carefully to avoid wetness, lying dropped objects on the floor. to avoid slipping or falling.

Sufficient training is given to the staff on first aid.

Sufficient knowledge is given to the staff about other matters such as child abuse enabling them to identify such children from their behavior.

Maintain an Accident Record Book to record any significant accidents, so that anybody interested can go through it to see how safety is maintained from the beginning of the school.

OUR STAFF
We believe that our staff is the key to our success.
Therefore we have carefully implemented our recruitment procedures.
We are very keen to recruit only qualified teachers if they are appointed as class teachers, and addition to that they are given a minimum of six months training under the guidance of the Directress and senior teachers.
Also we have a recruitment program to train young ladies who are in the process of obtaining a diploma from a recognized institute. They will be given employment with us depending on the available vacancies once obtained the diploma, as Assistant Teachers.
Other than classroom teaching, they play a big role in all special events, not only by guiding and practicing kids, but also by participating themselves performing on stage to prove their personal talents and capabilities.
The school provides with special training programs on new teaching methods, psychological perspectives, creativity etc. to update and enhance their knowledge in the field.
Also we organize welfare activities such as annual get-togethers
and family trips in order to make them relaxed and comfortable at the end of the year.
We respect our hardworking and dedicated teachers who love to be with small ones as they are the people who inculcate the desire for learning at the very early stage of children's lives. We are proud that we only have such teachers at Blooms of Millennium Montessori School.
